Nazmun Nahar Baby was born in Palgiri village of Kachua Upazila, Chandpur district. Her father, the late Md. Yunus Khan, was an officer of the Department of Food, and her mother, Nurun Nahar Begum, is a homemaker. She is the eldest among six siblings—five sisters and one brother.

She completed her Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 1978 from Tejgaon Polytechnic School, Dhaka, and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in 1980 from Lalmatia Women’s College. She later studied in the Department of Zoology at the University of Dhaka.

In 1988, she moved to New York for higher education and studied Computer Information Science at Brooklyn College, City University of New York (CUNY). During her stay in New York, she served as the Office and Publicity Secretary of BNP USA.

In her student life, she held key leadership roles, including Women Affairs Secretary of the Central Committee of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) and President of JCD, Begum Rokeya Hall Unit, University of Dhaka.

She is currently serving as a Member of the BNP National Executive Committee and Vice President of the Central Committee of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal. She has been actively involved in strengthening women’s political leadership and participation in Bangladesh and has played a significant role in BNP’s political movements and organizational activities.

Her only daughter, Tanzida Nahar Haque, completed her undergraduate degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, New York, followed by a Master’s degree in International Criminal Justice and Human Rights, and is currently pursuing a Law degree at the University of Georgia.

Nazmun Nahar Baby also served as the editor of the book “The Struggle of Dr. A. N. M. Ehsanul Hoque Milon Against Academic Fraud”.

She is the spouse of senior BNP leader and former successful State Minister for Education, A. N. M. Ehsanul Hoque Milon, and has consistently stood beside him while independently contributing to party activities and public life.
